Epson printers are equipped with waste ink pads that collect excess ink during cleaning cycles and printing. To prevent ink leakage, the printer uses a digital counter to track usage. If you reset the counter multiple times without cleaning or replacing the physical sponges, ink may eventually leak from the bottom of the printer.

Using third-party reset tools voids your Epson warranty and may permanently damage your printer if ink pads are truly full. Proceed at your own risk.
