Epson printers are equipped with waste ink pads that collect excess ink during cleaning cycles and printing. To prevent ink leakage, the printer uses a digital counter to track usage. If you reset the counter multiple times without cleaning or replacing the physical sponges, ink may eventually leak from the bottom of the printer.
