The film revolves around Aman (Shah Rukh Khan), a free-spirited and adventurous man who lives life on his own terms. He meets Meera (Katrina Kaif), a beautiful and innocent woman who is on a mission to find her estranged husband, Siddharth (played by Randeep Hooda). As Aman and Meera embark on a journey together, they develop strong feelings for each other. However, their relationship is put to the test when Siddharth reappears, and Meera is forced to confront her past.
